The lady of the house, who had done her own interior design, also collaborated to create an elegant, seamless aesthetic.
Several challenges had to be overcome to accomplish the look the homeowners desired. Gothic mullion doors, 8-foot-tall twisted posts on each side of the refrigerator, and cabinetry capping out at nearly 10 feet were among the challenges faced. To accomplish this, multiple sources were used. The refrigerator area, for example, utilized twisted posts from Osborne Wood Products, 14-inch capitals from Enkeboll Designs, and multiple moldlngs to the ceiling. From there, Bertch Custom completed the cabinetry and finishing needs.
From furniture base and custom turnings and posts to gothic doors and carved moldings, attention to detail was addressed in every area of this kitchen. At the same time, great functionality was retained for both daily use and entertaining. Learn more about this designer at
