One aspect of the kitchen the homeowners wanted to remain was the quartz countertops, so the Fisher Design Team expanded the existing surface space and then designed the cabinetry around the countertops. To simplify entertaining, they also desired an additional prep sink and seating, so the builder removed an existing wall and opened the kitchen up to the family room. The kitchen also now flows to the outdoor patio seamlessly.
Additional island storage with rollout trays and a recycling area replaced the previous open shelving, and more storage for various sundries was created with 42-inch-tall cabinetry and a pantry with rollout trays of its own.
